Hong Kong days
Have been working on a project for a wealth managment company. I am helping them working on a survey research in order to build up publicity and to study the proportion of people would like to have their kids have oversea education and whether they are well-prepared for the financial support.
Designing questionnaire, sampling, writing report, a short summary probably for newspaper and setup a database for contacting potential cilents in the future are my work. Pay are not particularly high, however I am still working on it for my reference and also I would like to confirm myself that I am ABLE to do this, in some sense I am considering it to be my personal research, if it fails, I am failed. However, didn’t expect sampling to be so difficult, as HongKonger are so against it. I thought about giving up, but I thought about Wangyan, he was so smart and well-done in academic and he was still working so hard in a cinema last year. It reminded me that even though the working area might not be so interesting one should work hard and focus on that. Hopefully I can get this project done perfectly and I will assure myself that I wouldn’t have to work on this kinda stuff again in the future…
