Ha… Borrowed the 450D from Dad, this let me understand myself whether I have the interest in photography before investing too much money to a too good for me DSLR.

Watched Wall-E at night, very good movie. Very good movie giving us warning about the way we live our life, producing unneccssary pollution and waste.

最心痛是, “唱”得太遲!!

Stayed home for Man 10m dive and man single table tennis final, wasn’t too worried about the table tennis, as it’s a Chinese vs Chinese final. Focused myself on the 10m diving, relieved a bit after the fifth dive, thought we must have already got the Gold medal and the 8 all Gold medals in diving. Sadly the final dive of 周吕鑫 made a mistake with a relative low difficulty, 3.4 and scored 74.8, and next diver Matthew Mitcham of Australia dived a 112.1 points. Even with 30points ahead, we got taken over by 4points!! um… Sad for him, 4 years of hard work, “我还年轻，这样的经历会帮助我更好的成长，以后还有很长的路要走”… Good luck!!

In a local pub, Broadface, in Abingdon. Brilliant food, the best pub food ever had!

林丹(Lin Dan) completely dominated the whole game and out played 李宗伟, felt so happy to see Lin Dan won the medal he should have got 4 years ago. Good work Lin Dan, support you!! Look forward to see you play in live if you play in UK!!

Lin Dan really is a great great player, sading he is not possible to win 8 Gold medal because the following games do not exist,

They stand a good chance winning the Gold Medal if not if not the numerous of fatal mistakes of 何汉斌, um… I guess he just lack of experiences and being nervous, hope he will be able to perform better in the future…

Didn’t watched this match at 5am as I tried to get more sleep for the next day. I was hoping 谢杏芳 to win such that she can have a good time with Lin Dan, who should be able to win the Gold without having too much trouble. I knew that 谢杏芳 have been having injury and from some of her previous match, she seems to me a bit slower than how she used to be. Hoped that 张宁 was going to let go easily, however she didn’t. As a Chinese and especially Cantonese, hope she will win next time!

Watched the game during lunch time again, very good match.

Commentator said, “Chinese have a different culture with us, the whole country is more important than individual.”, which is referring the fact that both side did not play on their best as they are both Chinese, competing with each other aggressive reducing the chance of winning the Gold and the Bronze medal for both of them. First of all, it seems to be it is an complement to me, and what is the point of competing with each other when there is a clear sign who has a better chance to get the Gold? And in fact, I think it has been the style how Lin Dan play, very relaxingly, wait until the opponent made a mistake and then smash.

Commentator also mentioned it is good to see the Chinese vs each other in semi final such that Chinese final is not possible, it seems to me it is a bit biased, wouldn’t every country also want to see their players win both the Gold and Silver medals?

During the match, one thing I have noticed was the Chinese audience were shouting “林丹加油” instead of “中國加油” which is what they usually shout when playing with a non-Chinese opponent. It seems to me that it is very bad, on the count, both of them are Chinese, why should we shout for one player but not the other? No doubt, 陈金 stood a smaller chance of winning, however, I still think it was unfair to him. I felt glad that he won the Bronze, and as a Chinese I guess we should also support him!
